MICHAEL AURORA
Chief Executive Officer
Michael brings over 25 years of experience to New Era Security Services, Inc. He began his career as a security officer, shortly thereafter being promoted to Field Supervisor, Operations Manager, Branch Manager and then General Manager. As the General Manager, he was responsible for managing numerous high profile accounts in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, including large businesses, schools, government buildings, and private housing developments. Michael also brings a great deal of business acumen to the company, having owned, and operated several successful businesses for many years. Michael is an active Volunteer Firefighter with the Village of Ossining, N.Y., having held ranks as Lieutenant and Captain of his engine company. Terence Hubbard
Director of Operations (NY)
Terence delivers over 10 years of experience to New Era Security Services Inc. He began his career as a security officer, working up by being promoted to Field Supervisor, Operations Manager, and then Client Manager (Assistant Branch Manager). As a Client Manager, he oversaw numerous accounts in the Tri-State Area. These accounts ranged from corporate real estate, schools, government buildings, housing developments, construction projects, retail and loss prevention, and healthcare facilities. Terence also brings with him an extraordinary amount of financial knowledge as well as his business experiences. Devan Murray
Director of Operations (FL)
Devan Murray joins the New Era team as we expand into the state of Florida. Devan is a Pace University Alumni and a certified Crisis Prevention and Intervention Instructor with over 10 years of experience in the security industry. Being certified in basic life support skills and a verbal de-escalation specialist, New Era Security Services is happy to have Devan as its Director of Operations overseeing the Florida area. Devan also enjoys working with people, having been a Volunteer Fire Firefighter, a camp director, a high school football and softball coach, and a crisis counselor for a day treatment school for many years. Jason Hadjstylianos
Security Manager
Jason ("Jay") joins the team with over 20 years of invaluable law enforcement experience. Jay is a professional in his field having served with the NYPD, Village of Ossining Police, and Village of Briarcliff Manor Police Department retiring as a Sergeant. His dedication to public safety and excellence as a certified NYS Defensive Tactics Instructor has earned him the respect of his colleagues and peers. Jay is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt and decorated competitor with numerous gold medal wins at national tournaments. This blend of practical field experience and tactical expertise brings a comprehensive perspective to his role at New Era. With his strong leadership abilities and unwavering commitment to professionalism and readiness, Jay is an invaluable asset to the company and its mission to provide top-quality security services. jeff muendel
Schedule Manager
Jeff joins New Era with over 21 years of experience in security, and an extensive law enforcement background bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the New Era Team. His law enforcement career began in the Mount Vernon Police Department, and later in the Sleepy Hollow Police Department, solidifying his skills in security and crime prevention. Jeff’s security experience has evolved from being one of New Era's Armed Events officers to scheduling armed events coverage for one of New Era's high profile client accounts. Jeff holds a college degree in Criminal Justice. Jeff is a devoted family man, residing in Ossining, New York with his wife and two children where he coaches recreational youth sports, showcasing his commitment to community. Alyssa Aurora
Director of Human Resources
Alyssa brings over 7 years of experience in the security industry. She is the Director of Human Resources for New Era. She started her career as a Security Officer and was quickly recognized as a leader before being promoted to Human Resource Coordinator. As the HR Coordinator, she was responsible for onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and company policy. Working through the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Alyssa was essential to the hiring and placement of over 500 security professionals to service different counties in New York State as essential employees. Alyssa holds a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Communications with a focus in Public Relations from SUNY Purchase College and a Masters in General and Special Education. MJ Aurora
Senior Support Specialist
MJ brings over 5 years of experience to New Era. Starting as a security officer, he was quickly promoted to administrative assistant, working in both Operations and HR while continuing his officer duties. MJ's experience in commercial, residential, education, fireguard and hospitality industries enables him to lead all SOPs and Post Orders development for New Era. MJ has experience in field supervisor, supporting startups and conducting mass hiring events. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, providing a diverse perspective for the continued growth and success of New Era Security Services. Odeh Hasou
Administrative Coordinator
Odeh joins the New Era team as a highly skilled, problem solving and dedicated individual with over 14 years of experience in security service and customer relations. In his experiences before New Era, Odeh began as a security officer and climbed the chain of command all the way to the role of director of security. Odeh is a very personable leader and team player who can interact and lead diversified teams and individuals. Overseeing many different types of organizations ranging from residential and corporate real estate, public and private corporations, educational institutions, anti-piracy events, and retail loss prevention. Will Reyes
Senior Field Manager
Will joins the New Era team bringing with him lifelong ties to the New York and Connecticut communities. Attending Lincoln Tech and graduating from Boces Tech, Will’s in-depth knowledge and skills lead him to become a supervisor for many trades throughout his career. Working as a supervisor, managing retail sales, and finding time to coach various recreational youth sports teams makes him a great addition to the New Era team. As a Senior Field Manager, Will oversees the field team, our fleet of vehicles, and is an instrumental part of the communication between our admins, clients, and officers. Zaneta joins New Era as a highly experienced professional. Promoted from Security Patrol Officer to one of our valued Field Supervisor Zaneta brings a strong background in clerical support, security, and caregiving. Over the last five years, she has honed her skills in assisting with administrative tasks, implementing safety protocols, and delivering attention to individuals in need. In addition to her on-the job experience, Zaneta also pursued education in paralegal studies, further enhancing her legal and administrative knowledge. Upholding safety and organization in the office and providing operational support in the field, Zaneta exemplifies professionalism and dedication. Michael Lue
Trainning Instructor
Michael “Lue” is a major part of the New Era team bringing with him his independent LLC. As the founder and director of LNL Security Services, a company specializing in security guard training. Lue is a certified NYS General Topics Instructor, approved by the NYS Division of Criminal Justice. Additionally, he is an active-duty U.S. Army Veteran and a graduate of CUNY John Jay College. With a strong work ethic, he began his career as a security guard and steadily climbed the ranks to management. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in various industries, including commercial, residential, corporate, and social services. Having worked for several top leading security companies, we are happy to have his company and expertise as one of our preferred training instructor schools.
